How can I protect my dashboard from fading and cracking?

A: The best protection comes from using a protectant every time you wash your car. Armor All Protectant helps guard against the harmful effects of ozone by protecting against cracking of your tires and protects against damaging UV rays by preventing fading of your dash.

What are the ingredients in Armor All Protectants? Do they include silicone, alcohol, ultraviolet inhibitors and petroleum distillates?

A: Armor All Leather Care contains lanolin and natural moisturizers, and UV inhibitors. Armor All Leather Care Protectant Spray and Leather Wipes contain water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, and ultraviolet light inhibitors. Armor All Original Shine Protectant contains water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, and ultraviolet light inhibitors, humectants, dispersants and gloss enhancers. Armor All Ultimate Clean Protectant contains water-based silicone emulsions, surfactants, ultraviolet light inhibitors and a fragrance.

Can I use Armor All Protectant Products on my tires; including whitewall, motorcycle and bicycle?

A: Armor All Protectant Products are ideal for protecting, shining and cleaning your car tires. Just spray onto surface, let penetrate and wipe off for a great shine and long-lasting protection. However, these products should not be used on cycle tires due to slipperiness.

Can I use Armor All Protectant on leather; including car seats, furniture and shoes?

A: Armor All Leather Care Protectant products are perfect for use on your treated leather home furnishings. Our specially formulated leather products condition your leather, whether in your car or house, helping to keep your leather looking like new. These products, however, are not designed for use on suede, buckskin or fabric. They are also not designed for use on bench or cycle seats due to slipperiness. If you have any doubts about a specific surface, it’s always wise to test an inconspicuous area first.

How do I avoid getting Armor All Protectant on my windows and windshield when I’m protecting my car’s interior?

A: To avoid over-spray of Armor All Protectant onto your glass, spray the protectant directly onto a cloth (cotton & terry cloth work best) and wipe. Both Armor All Original Protectant Wipes and Protectant Gel offer greater control to evenly treat surfaces.

How long do your Armor All Tire products take to dry on tires?

A: Depending on the product, after applying, you can expect Armor All Tire products to take from approximately 10 to 15 minutes to thoroughly dry. Please check the package for specific drying information.

Can I use Armor All® Auto Glass Cleaner on all types of tinted windows?

A: Armor All® Auto Glass Cleaner has been specially formulated for use on factory-tinted windows. We do not recommend using this product on other types of tinted windows, such as those with plastic tint films.
